Fee- for-service tailor-made mAb production
It is our commitment to deliver high-quality, tailor-made monoclonal antibodies. We will help you to decide which immunization and selection strategy best fits your project parameters. We will ourselves customize the selection process or you can test ELISA-positive hybridoma supernatants in your desired assays (Western blotting, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, immunoprecipitation, FACS, biological assays,.... This allows you to select te best mAb(s) for your specific application.

As each project is unique and the experimental needs differ, we have knowledge and experience to help you to design the most scientifically sound approach to achieve your goals. We have several monoclonal antibody production packages available (Monoclonal antibody production starts at 4944 Euro). Contact Nick Geukens to learn more about our mAb production program and to receive a quotation for your project.

R&D PROGRAMS

Academic co-development projects
Research groups involved in disease biology are the primary source of new disease modifying drug targets. PharmAbs wants to assist these groups with the necessary experience and tools to move their targets into successful therapeutic or diagnostic antibody development.

R&D projects with industrial partners
The platform is open for companies who would like to generate monoclonal therapeutics or antibodies for diagnostic purposes. PharmAbs will enter into collaborative partnerships with these companies to co-develop antibody-based therapeutics or diagnostics.

PharmAbs internal development projects
Besides co-development projects with other academic groups, PharmAbs is engaged in developing monoclonal therapeutics against targets identified by the founding laboratories.

PRODUCT PIPELINE

PharmAbs aims to develop a series of high-value antibody-based products.

  1. In collaboration with the K.U.Leuven Laboratory for Thrombosis Research, PharmAbs is developing a humanised antibody Fab fragment inhibiting glycoprotein Ib (the platelet receptor for von Willebrand Factor) for treatment of ischemic stroke. A short description of the technology and current stage of development is shown here. The project is currently open for partnering. For further information, please contact Hans Deckmyn or Nick Geukens.
  2. The K.U.Leuven Laboratory of Experimental Laboratory Medicine is developing together with PharmAbs antibodies for passive immunisation against important bacterial infections. For further information about the status of the project, please contact Xavier Bossuyt or Nick Geukens.
  3. The K.U.Leuven Laboratory of animal physiology and neurobiology collaborates with PharmAbs to validate novel biomarkers for early detection of cancer metastasis. The project is funded by the K.U.Leuven Industrial Research Fund (Functional Peptidomics Knowledge Platform IOFKP/09/003). For more information, please contact Bart Landuyt or Nick Geukens.

Other pre-clinical R&D programs remain undisclosed.
